Activating Garmin PayTM is very easy

Garmin Pay is a contactless payment solution that will allow you to use your Garmin watch to pay fast and securely. To start using it you just have to activate Garmin Pay on your watch and add the MoraBanc Visa cards you want to use, except for the MoraBanc Visa Sticker.

Here’s how it works!

1. Setting up Garmin Pay on your watch

You will need a Garmin watch that is compatible with Garmin Pay contactless technology. You can find out about the watches with this option here.

Open the Garmin ConnectTM app on your mobile telephone and enter the drop-down menu.

Select Garmin Pay > Get Started.

Choose the watch you want to use and create an access code for Garmin Pay.

2. Add your cards to the Garmin PayTM wallet

You can add up to 10 credit and debit cards, except for the MoraBanc Visa Sticker.

If you have just installed Garmin Pay, the app will give you the option to choose the type of card. For MoraBanc cards, select Visa.

If you already have Garmin Pay on your watch, open the Garmin Connect app on your watch, select Garmin Pay and then select Add Card. Choose Visa to add your MoraBanc card.

Manually enter your card and address details and accept the terms and conditions.

You will receive an SMS from MoraBanc to authorise the operation.

Once you have completed the transaction, your card will be activated and you will be able to pay with your watch.

3. You can now pay with your Garmin watch

You will be able to pay using your Garmin watch at any retailer that accepts contactless payments.

To pay using Garmin Pay, press the Light button and select the wallet icon.

Enter your access code and select the card from the virtual wallet.

Hold your watch near the card reader.

Done!

Privacy and security

Garmin PayTM enables you to make secure payments thanks to card numbers and transaction codes specific to watches. Furthermore, your card number will not be saved on your device or our servers, nor will it be transferred to staff in the establishments where you pay. Therefore, your payments will be totally secure.
